What is MyPlanChoices?

MyPlanChoices is a decision support software that uses sophisticated predictive modeling to advise employees on medical benefit elections.


This tools asks the user questions related to their medical expectations, current conditions, and preferences. It then provides personalized plan recommendations and cost forecasts, while simultaneously integrating benefits education. ​

Why did we create MyPlanChoices?

Everyone has different medical needs, preferences, and financial risk tolerance. 


However, choosing the right medical plan can be a daunting task due to plan complexity. We believe that offering choice to employees is the right strategy, but often times these choices are not fully understood and can be overwhelming.


This is why we created MyPlanChoices.


MyPlanChoices takes the confusion away by offering a simple, user-friendly questionnaire. The user is asked to answer a few questions about their medical and financial preferences. Within minutes, the employee/employee family is able to see a ranked list of their best-fit medical plan options, as well as cost projections for each plan based on their responses. 


While the user interface is easy-to-use and provides quick results, forecasting cost and ranking plans is no easy mathematical task. Our team of actuaries, benefit consultants, and programmers use cutting-edge predictive modeling, actuarial methods, and behavioral research to develop this dynamic tool that estimates the expected cost under each plan for each individual user.
